LemonNation; Could 9's Support
How about those quarter finals eh? Pretty nifty stuff. Congrats to TSM and Dignitas on their wins.
This here is LemonNation, (I'm assuming you skipped the title and caption to get here) Cloud 9's support player. I put a fair bit of effort into this one clocking in at 2 hours on and off. Unfortunately I didn't record the whole process so you'll have to forgive once I get the process videos up on my channel. If you haven't yet you can check out my other speed paints of Balls, Meteos, Hai, and Sneaky by checking clicking their names.
Been a busy last few days... But I managed to get this one done before the end of the week. My daughter (the bigger one) has the early signs of pneumonia. So most of my attention has been there. I'd like to see the Cloud nine videos up and running by the time the regional are over... but hopes don't always line up with reality now do they?
Well that's said I'm hoping you guys enjoyed this little mini series definitely let me know what you'd like to see more of. And I'm hoping that Cloud 9 comes out of the regional championships with a win. Comments, questions, suggestions on this piece or future ones? Leave them below for me. As always God bless, be safe.

Cloud 9 Speed Paints - Sneaky
Sneaky; Cloud 9's ADC Marksman
I'll keep it short and sweet this time, I've got a lot of drawing to do (and I wanna get some Lucian games in before I turn in too!) Check out Balls, Meteos, and Hai by clicking their names.
I think these are getting better with each one... I may go back and touch up the older ones before I do the YouTube Videos. And Speaking of which subscribe to my channel if you haven't yet so you are made aware right when the process vids of the C9 boys hit the Tube.
Well guys thanks for checking out my art. I'm SO thankful for it. Any comments questions, or suggestions on this piece or others you'd like to see please leave em below for me. As always God bless, be safe.

Cloud 9 Speed Paints - Hai
Hai; Cloud 9's Mid
Last week I decided to start working on some C9 portraits. One; because I haven't been doing any portraits, and two, because I felt like it was something I'd enjoy and be able to push though. with every match I watch I find myself becoming a bigger and bigger C9 fan! If you like this piece and haven't seen my Balls and Meteos stuff check them out.

Cloud 9 Speed Paints - Meteos
Meteos; Cloud 9's jungler
Earlier this week I decided to do some Cloud 9 Hyper X (a pro League of Legends team) portrait studies since I found myself so interested in the LCS again and this seemingly untouchable team.

Pi, E, and Inspriationat work.
E and Pi.
I did some messing around a few nights ago. Wanted to take a break from portraits and get in some... me time. For those of you who don't know Pi and E are leading characters in my comic Apple Pi E Less Than Three; a comic about the anonymity of the internet, and self reliance!
I actually ended up going into work early yesterday and doing ton of concepting and planning. Trying to simply my characters so I could draw a page or two a day and so I could simplify my story. Unfortunately time flys so so fast, I wasn't able to get as much as I'd like done. I did find a style that's me and that's fun. Hopefully I'll be sharing more of that with you in future LTP shows... I think I'm going to focus them on my comics. From here on out... Let me know what you think about that.
Also at work yesterday I met a young artist. He couldn't have been more than 9 or 10, but this kid was going in! He loved the classic disney characters and from memory he was putting them down on paper inbetween bits his lines were wobbley but it was almost like he was tracing these images from right out of his memory. I was so impressed. When I showed him my sketch book and asked for advice he told me to draw disney characters (he named maybe 20 of them) Talking to him more he told me he drew 4 hours a day. Now all you serious artists out there know that is awesome. That kid is going to be a monster if he keeps going like he is. Its really an inspiration to see people especially people younger than me working so hard to improve their craft.
When he asked me for advice I just told him keep drawing, never stop. Anyone else who is serious about progress in anything that's my advice. Push yourself to be better every spare moment you have. Never stop learning, never stop improving, and never create obstacles and excuses to impede you. Whats your biggest dream and what are you doing to turn it into a reality?
Well guys thanks for reading through all this, I promise lots of awesomeness soon. Any comments, questions or suggestions on this post or future projects leave it below for me. As always guys God bless, be safe.

Cloud 9 Speed Paints - Balls Update
Balls; Cloud 9's top laner.
I wanted to work on Meteos' portrait today (and there is still time for that) but I was a little troubled with where I left the Balls piece I showed you guys yesterday. So I took so time to kind of iron it out a little more. I think I clocked in another hour or so into it, and it definitely payed off. Another perc of that is you can see that hour of work. I was able to save the progress of that one. Give me a few more days and I'll have it available to show on my YouTube channel.
Comments, questions suggestions on this piece or future ones? Leave em below for me. Thanks for checking out my work I'm so thankful for it guys. As always God bless, be safe, see you next time.

Cloud 9 Speed Paints - Balls
I got in the mood to draw the Cloud 9 crew after watching some of their LCS games... man they are working hard and are really fun to watch. Originally I was big into what was happening with the LCS but with work and the baby who was then on the way my focus was often shifted. I'd like to get back into it though and this is not only good practice doing portraits and faces but something that is kind of rekindling the LCS love in me.
I ended up drawing Balls; the Top Laner for the team. I'll probably end up going back in a doing some more touch ups but this is how far I got after working on and off for a few hours.
I wanted to put the process up on the Tube, but unfortunately the file was corrupted. So I'll have to offer up this work in progress piece instead. But keep your eyes peeled for a lot of my previous work popping up on my channel, and the other Cloud 9 boys progress videos.

Baby Sejuani
It's no secret that I'm a Sejuani fan. She is a character from the game League of Legends, a MOBA style game where you play as a champion from the world of Runetera. Sejuani is the boar riding leader of the Winter's Claw; a war hungry tribe bent on purifying their splintered nation of the weaker peace seeking tribes. While joking around with my buddies about naming my next child after the future queen of Freljord my good friend and popular YouTuber RocknRoll4Life suggested that I draw Sejuani and her boar; Bristle; as babies taking a nap.
I went ahead and tried to squeeze some of that in. unfortunately its looking like the video file I made of it got corrupted so I don't believe I'll be able to share the process of this one... but definitely feel free to check out my other sketchbook videos when you get the time.
Well guys thanks for reading and checking out my art. As always God bless, be safe, see you next time!

The Incredibles Study!
Another movie study. Man... doing this one got me in the mood to watch some of The Incredibles! I've always been a huge fan of the movie, in fact it has been sitting very comfortably in that number one spot up until I saw James Cameron's The Avatar. As per usual I recorded this one. but if you are here on the site you get a little sneak peak before my YouTube subscribers even know whats going on.
This one took about an hour or two. My colors are a bit off I could have put more effort into that. I could have kept a better eye on my spacing as well... I wish I could say I learned a lot... but I really don't think I took this one one in a "I want to learn" way, or it may be because this is an animated movie and those fundemental rules are just so skewed to begin with that I just didn't get what I was doing? I don't know...
What I do know is that I ended up taking many a detour watching random youtube clips from the movie and just reliving the whole experince I got when I first watched the movie... It really is a great film.
Okay guys... Thanks for taking the time to step out and check out my art. I am very thankful for it. As always God bless, be safe.

Where I've Been, Where I'm Going! - LessThanPi Show! # 10.5
High Low ladies and Gents! Its been a while and I'm happy to be back. Hopefully we'll be seeing these again once a week. Read more and you can grab the images I was working on down below and get a littl ebit of background on what I was doing with them. I basically talk about where I've been these past few months and what my intentions are for the future. I'm a daddy now and with that comes loads more responsibility. So lets keep beastin!

Desert Landscape, Pi and E
So a few days ago I had a little bit of time to get some sketches in I'd like to make this a more daily thing (like back in the good old days) but with a baby and full time job we'll see just how much squeezing I can get in.
I spent maybe 20 minutes on each between baby cries and had a lot of fun doing them. I'm STILL trying to find a style I like to do and STILL have trouble getting there. Just have gotta keep working hard.
And Last but not least E. Probably my favorite character in the series. This one is a little more unfinished I got really frustrated with trying to make the face look round and childlike. But I wanted to share it with you anyway.
I actually ended up recording all of the process for the three of these I did them back to back to back. SO hopefully along with the Life of Pi study and all of the other junk I've been mentioning on the blog this will be coming out soon.
Well guys thanks for your time, and as always God bless, be safe.

This one is a random landscape from imagination. Originally I wanted to make it a background for a character peice but I started to lose my nerve.
This is Pi from Apple Pi E Love. My in the works comic! playing around with value here and trying to faces from imagination. I clearly need to keep getting those photo studies in.

Life of Pi Study
Just saw life of Pi and quite frankly I was blown away. They made a movie about me! My struggles and hardships all capture brilliantly on the big screen. Yeah... they took a lot of liberties, but all of my important life events definitely shine through in this movie.
I was so inspired by the movies art direction I wanted to do a quick study of one of the screen caps. If you couldn't guess, the screen cap is on the right, my "speed study" is on the left. I learned a lot doing this and hope I get to do more in the near future. It took about two hours on and off. (I had to spend a little time with my daughter here and there.) There should be a LessThanPi Show coming up featuring this piece as well with a little bit of commentary. So check back soon for that.
Well ladies and gents as always thanks for your time. God bless, be safe.
