Having fun with these so I did two before bed between other projects.Black a while felt faster but this piece was also missing hand so... Maybe I should stick with black and while for a bit to get a better handle on my values?

-Forehead is a little too large? Yeah... its too large
-Getting more confident at picking my mid tones, but again don't be afraid of the darks! Especially around the focal points like the eyes. And ESPECIALLY when the background is black.
-His right cheek (on our left) is reading a little flat don't forget the to shade around the form and planes of the face.
**PLEASE stare measuring the key distances on the face so you can get better likeness with the reference..
